Another oldie from my "life series" I was sitting in the car, eating my lunch, when this guy landed on the car. He had done that other times when I was in that parking lot. I think I was disturbing him and he wasn't being at all subtle. He'd land on the car and peck on the windshield. - there was a tree right above the car which may have held his nest.
This photo was taken from the driver's seat. I was amazed at how well it turned out. Lesson to learn. Always carry your camera. Of course, nowadays - with cameras on phones, this is no longer an issue, but in the old days, I carried my camera with me at all times - just for these types of opportunities.

It was so cool to see him visit. How I love that I was able to get that photo.

I bet... pardon my ignorance but would he be a Red Cardinal by any chance?

Yes, he is a Cardinal - the males are all red, the females are kinda orangey red. They stay red all year - the females never change, either.
You see a lot of them in winter. Cardinals against snow - what a sight that is.

I notice a lot of scrappers use them on their Christmas Cards.

I would think that would be ‘priceless’.

I would think that would be ‘priceless’. Definitely priceless -- he would stay on the windshield 5 minutes or more -- knocking on the window. I've never known that type of behavior from a Cardinal. I think he was telling me to move on. Or maybe he was just saying hello

Great photo combined with great presentation. Kudos on what could be a lovely card.
