- Applied the Glowing Edges filter (Darker Color blending mode, 50% Opacity). - Applied a texture by Jason P. Odell (Luminescent Painterly, Overlay blending mode, 75% Opacity). - Applied the Lighting Effects filter. - Created the frame with Filter Forge (Matching Frame). - Image from Pixabay.

Image from Unsplash. Clipart from pngtree. Applied Glowing Edge and blended with Linear Light. Created a frame and gave it a gradient colour to tone in with the image.

I appreciated the links for ideas of how this filter can be used. I duped the layer, ran the filter, inverted the result and combined with the original using the multiply blend mode. Because the Glowing Edged filter did such a good job of locating the outer edge of the flower it was simple to separate it from the background. I blurred the background and added a drop shadow, giving it some punch, I thought. The original is my own. (click for full size view)

Missed your one above, Sepiana. I like how all the texture is emphasized. I continue to like the effect it has on images taken at night.....
