What smells better than freshly baked bread?? Thanks for the theme Sepiana! I'm going to spend the rest of the week looking for BBQ. For the theme of course! ;-) Bill, hard to beat freshly baked bread. Their smell is divine. What a shot! I'm mesmerized by the details on the bread crust. Still waiting for the barbecue!

That bread would have gone nicely with tonight's chili.......a real treat as we NEVER have chili! Helen, not my favorite food but it smells good (and fits the theme).

Another non edible "smell" entry. One of many (many) hyacinths throughout the house. Such a lovely fragrance. Clive, hyacinths do have a lovely fragrance and they are beautiful flowers. Your image does justice to their beauty.

The wild sages ( Artemisia sp) of the prairies are not related to the sage we use in cooking. However, the foliage has a powerful and most pleasant smell. When walking, I sometimes pull a couple of leaves off and rub them between my fingers ... a lovely fragrance. Pavan Park, December 14, 2020 Clive, great finding for this theme -- a powerful and a very nice smell.

From the kitchen today...... Helen, I'm sure these cookies smell really nice, just in time for this theme.

Not into baking and Indian tonight will be take-out so best I could do was grab a shot of the smell aisle on the weekly shopping visit to the local supermarket! Tony Tony, and you did very well! A potpourri of smells with your usual trademark -- sharp, detailed image. We can read the labels!

Take-out Indian tonight smelled so good I had to get a picture of it being cooked! Tony Tony, I'm glad you did. I love the human element mixed with the smell. Great shot!

Household favourite Smells has to be the Aroma of Coffee. Jim, 100% in agreement. I love the aroma of coffee, particularly . . . Brazilian coffee, freshly ground, strong, black, no sugar.

Without a nose, the sense of smell would be irrelevant. Rick, this image takes top honors -- creative interpretation of this theme and choice of subject. I love that nose! Give him a treat for me; he deserves it.
