Figured I'd make this work for both challenges....... That’s very clever Helen, I keep looking at that other challenge thread and thinking I’ll give it a go.

H is for Harley-DavidsonOn Labor Day weekend in 2003, the boys (and girls) came to town They closed the freeway so they could parade to downtown for the festivities - and fill the freeway, they did What an amazing sight - and what an amazingly loud day The most fun part of the day? - reading T-shirts and jackets. Everyone had on their HD T-shirts/jackets with the location of their club - To say this was not a local event would be quite an understatement. People shipped their bikes to town from all over the world. photo:cats4jan

What a great page, Janet. I also liked reading the info you included. I believe it was WayneS who posted about a similar event in the match game.

Unless you were there, it's hard to imagine how many motorcycles were in town. No matter where you went, you would see and hear them. Amazing experience.

I love to see it here, when they have their Christmas charity ride. Hundreds of them, all dressed as Santa.

What a great page, Janet. I also liked reading the info you included. I believe it was WayneS who posted about a similar event in the match game. I did, and will add it to this article, "Port Dover, ON is a small town (8-9,000 population) and somewhat famous, as on every Friday the 13th every hard core biker within driving distance comes to Port Dover. They shut the traffic into town totally off except motorcycles, and they will get as many as 100,000 bikers!" And then, there is the BIG one, in Sturgis SD, where they will draw as many as 700,000 people over 10 days. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sturgis_Motorcycle_Rally
