I need some help finding a very useful thread from a while back, it helped me cure my flat print syndrome. I've searched diligently with no luck. Sepiana and I were stuck but a guy jumped in and saved the day reminding us of Auto-Contrast. It worked flawlessly, you could adjust for the exact position of high and low positions on the levels curve.
I've looked up Auto-Contrast but somehow the guy who jumped in had a clearer way of explaining how to use it.
TIA, Paul

Hi Paul, I think this may be the thread you are looking for. The help came from PeteB's post. One thing you can do is to check your activity for past information you might want to find. Hope this is what you were looking for. Helen

Helen,
Bless you! That's it! Wow, the ink was barely dry on my post. I'm going to bookmark that.

I am assuming this is available to members and not only admins, Paul. If you check your profile.....by clicking on your name you should see this: Then if you click Activity you would see a listing of your activity......

Anyone know if Elements Plus has same sort of curve contrast. Jim, Michel already answered your question. I'm just bringing in another option. Photoshop Elements has Curves; Adobe calls it -- Color Curves. It is a rather restricted version of Photoshop's Curves with a simplified dialog box, a few preset settings, and not as many adjustment points. Adjust color curves

I do use PSE Color Curves and often have to take jpeg image through raw to finish it off, having the ie Grant curves may shortcut my method.

Thanks Sepiana, I read a post you mentioned the Grant Tools no longer available so just wanted to check if it's in the list of Elements Plus. Jim, Grant's Tools are still available -- on this forum. The files are for PSE 7 but they work just fine in PSE 8 and above. I have tested them. photoshopelementsandmore.com/post/10444

Thank you, so should be good with PSE 2021 Yes. No problem! There are seven actions in Grant's Tools. Just load the .atn file you want (Curves) via the Actions panel.
