So sweet! I'm not sure what kind it it's, but I think it's called Stillits. Maybe something else in USA?

Hi Marianne, Thank you for your kind comments. I also sent this email to my cousin who is very big in birds. She works with Songbirds of Northern Indiana. She just replied back saying the bird is a European Goldfinch. I noticed in the video the man working with the bird was talking, but his language was not English. This is what my cousin told me in her reply back to me. EDIT: I just now see my link to cube upload within the words European Goldfinch is not working. I will try again here:

I just now did a google search for both a European Goldfinch and a Stillits. I do not see a difference! Stillits or European Goldfinch

Just watched this.........what a great share, Charles. I also was struck by the contrast between the strong tattooed arms and the man's gentleness with the bird.

Thanks for the link Charles, what a joy to watch that bird enjoying a splash in that man's hands. I'm sure I've seen small flocks of those birds in my own backyard as well as near the creek where I walk the dog, and I'm in Victoria, Australia. I remember trying to find out what the bird was when I saw it, and couldn't believe it was a European goldfinch.

Glad you enjoyed it, and glad I helped you learn what type of bird it is
