Crazy Canadians on a chilly day! Our DIL wanted to try this...she'd seen it on FB. Boiling water tossed into the -25°C (-13°F) air. 25°C was today's high and that was 26C° below the average daily high! (That's 47F° below average!!) Posting a GIF in Show Your Work.  |

The Thanksgiving gourds have held up well over the winter. Photographed on Feb 2. I fiddled around with the original and added a texture layer. Played with hues an saturation.  |

Thank you to all who submitted images this time round. Hard though it has been to choose only 3 images I have eventually settled on the following... Frank’s composite image. I like composites and Frank has provided us with a very nice example with his ‘visiting another planet’. i.ibb.co/Lrz0JSd/Creative-travel-copy.jpgJacki’s ‘Mallacoota Inlet’ image. I find it a peaceful, restful image. I love the painterly effect and the long grasses are just beautiful. i.ibb.co/74kBQyv/Dap-painting-Mallacoota-Inlet.jpgMy IOW has to be Clives ‘Crazy Canadians on a chilly day’ image of his DIL tossing boiling water into freezing air. That for me is a WOW image and when I first saw it it blew my mind. Wonderful composite, Frank. Have loved seeing the Mallacoota images you've shared, Jacki. Happy to see one find a place in the IOW post.
Clive.....I think your image has "WOWED" us all. Such a spectacular capture. I am sure your DIL will be happy as well!
