Some very creative entries with the coffee cup from last week. Wonder what this tree will inspire you to try?

Lovely image. Thanks for the challenge Helen. Took image into Topaz Studio - Applied the Nita effect from the Ancient presets - settings altered by me. Blended with original using luminosity blend mode. Other Images by Louise Nash Glitter and Lantern Light from Ashe Design A little bit of magic...

Thanks for getting this started, Frank and Lillias. One a little spooky and one with a touch of fantasy......two very different edits.

Created the composite with images from Pixabay. Finished in Topaz Impression to better blend the image.

Applied a pastel colour sketch and blended that with the original using the Colour Blend Mode. Other images all from Pixabay. The Alligators Playground.

Nicely done, Lillias! Alligators was going to be my next try.....wouldn't have looked as good as yours! Will have to come up with another idea.

No problem, Lillias. Came up with a new idea and combined the image with a cemetery image from Stocksolo. Used a day to night lut....among other things to tone the image.

The other idea was a displacement map so here's a go at that (it's been a while since I tried doing one) Tony

Looks like the Keebler Cookie elf, Tony.
Using a displacement map on the trunk was a good idea. For awhile I had that down pat.....but like anything else if I don't use it for awhile I forget!

Wouldn't that be a wonderful tree to sit under with a book! Like your take on this, Karen.
