It does look like a special spot, Tom. It actually reminds me of an image that I took when visiting a friend in Richmond, Va. Although it has no real subject, there is something about the isolation of the spot that I find appealing. If I picture myself in a kayak entering your image I could definitely imagine feeling I was in a "Secluded and sacred" spot.
You also have created a very inviting image, Margaret. I am not sure of the identification of the flower you added but I will think of it as a magnolia which are often associated with Charleston/Savannah.
