Here are my choices of this week Crow's eye by srmoment- Love the sharpness of the crow onto foggy background and the reflection in the eye. An end to a long ride by kathylee- The B&W brings out all the detail of the lines and shadows and leads your eye down the bridge never-ending. Look into my eye by Madame- Nice crop close to the eye showing the giraffe's pattern and love the artistic effect too. Hummingbird juice by Chesney- Really nice detail capture of the hummingbird in motion. Red, white and blue flowers by angelag- I love this patriotic shot of the red, white & blue flowers. It caught my eye scrolling the gallery submissions. Nice sharpness with a beautiful bokeh in the background. My choice for this week's IOW Cherry thief by srmoment- Nice detail, clarity and color captured on this cherry thief as he was posing perfectly. So very well composed.  |

Christell, what a fine group of images! Seeing the number of gallery additions this week, I knew it was not going to be an easy choice. Thank you so much for judging and bringing these great images to the attention of our members. Congratulations to all the members whose work was recognized this week. They are all terrific! Special congratulations to Pat for her artistically presented Cherry Thief....outstanding!

Christell, I am honored that you liked my Cherry Thief in amongst the many great images this week.
.....I actually hauled out my megalong ladder and climbed up on my roof to sit right across from my cherry tree. I had my coffee, my camera, and a bird's eye view of all the thievery taking place! ...aha ha....the birds probably laughed their lovable little heads off watching me trying to manoeuvre that ladder around as it is so long I kind have to go where it tilts and lookout if there is a strong breeze!

Wonderful array of selections Christell, all of the mentioned artists need to be applauded but the winner is exactly that terrific capture. Well done everybody!
