This too is Spring, only in Colorado it comes late, and it comes in fits and starts - thaws, then freezes and thaws again. 9 days ago it was 80° F. 2 days ago we got about 6 inches of snow. This is what's left. Tomorrow it's supposed to snow again. (Actually I was just out playing with my new lens, 28mm prime, photo is taken looking back at town from a mile east)

preeb Sounds familiar. Lower 70s yesterday and will be 20°F tonight with snow. We could use a good spring snow and rain as it is very dry here. Clive

Clive The farmers are dancing in the fields over this last snow... gave the wheat crop a good dowsing at a good time for it. And the moisture will sink in to help start the corn crop when it's planted next month.

My theme is "Walking the Dogs" Thanks for letting us run off-leash this week Sepiana. It probably would have been a long time before "Green Gremlin Walking with Dinosaurs" came up in the rotation. ;-) Bill, this takes top honors for theme originality. I hadn’t seen your little friends around lately; I thought it was high time for them to make an appearance.

My theme for this week is "looking up". Dennis Dennis, what a beautiful cloudscape! In another level, a very uplifting theme -- looking up to the skies, hoping for a better world.

I'll go with Spring for the theme - and didn't have to go far for this one - the Star Magnolia I planted quite a few years back along the driveway is looking spectacular this year - along with the daffodils and dandelions. Tony Tony, very timely choice of theme. This Star Magnolia is indeed the star of the show. Great job capturing its beauty!

I'm on board with Dennis - looking up - and Tony - spring flowering trees. I just wish I the camera could capture the fragrance of this lilac, too. Jim, two themes for the price of one! A colorful and sharp image. I wish the same. (I love the fragrance of lilac!)

Spring can't seem to stick around for more than a few hours at a time locally. By time I got out this afternoon, the dreary weather had returned. My theme is Spring... Helen, despite the weather, you still were able to capture Spring with soft pastel colors. Nicely done!

Australian collie .. belongs to an acquaintance I bumped into this afternoon while walking. So my theme whippet is dogs. Clilve, what a beautiful dog! Your image does justice to his beauty. This is a portrait to be framed.

Same theme for me, again. I see these every time I come in my front door. I didn't think of taking a photo, earlier. whippet, I like your choice of the same theme for both entries. Quite a variety of dog-themed decor.

My theme is "gate". Matthew Matthew, I really like you found a gate with a long path behind it. This image invites the viewers to open the gate and follow the path. Well done!
