 I captured this as a 3-shot HDR but found that introduced more noise than simply opening up the shadows on the shot exposed for the distance. |

 The Huer's hut on Burgh Island. It was apparently used as a lookout for shoals of pilchards. Once spotted, the lookout would raise a 'hue and cry' to alert the local fishermen.
3-shot HDR image taken at sunset to get the setting sun through two aligned windows, processed in Aurora 2016. |
