I took this picture of a truck with my phone from the car window last week. Just finished creating this composite.....not the kind of thing I would usually tackle but am happy with the way it came out so thought I'd share.

You did an excellent job extracting that truck and getting the pole off the truck. It’s not hard to do, but it is very hard to do well. Great job. Good choice for the new background

You should be happy, they look like they were photographed as per your composite.

Oh great job Helen. Very nice extraction of the truck and it works so well with the image you used for your composite work. The lighting ties both together so well I would never have known this was a composite if you hadn’t said. You should be really happy with it and thank you for sharing it with us.

Thank you for the nice comments. I was pleased to find a background that worked from my archives.

The truck has so much character and charm. Great job extracting it and parking it in a new location.

Very nice job, Helen. What an improvement to it's original location. Composites are fun & frustrating all at the same time aren't they?

Thank you, Karen and Judy. Glad I stopped on this for awhile before resuming to work on it......helped with the frustrating parts.

Another composite.....a quick one this time. Lillias ( Lillias ) recently posted in the texture thread and added a link to a set of Victorian Portraits. I couldn't wait to try one and created this composite using a house that I photographed a few years ago.

I had posted the original in a FB Group and asked for suggestions. With the help of Lillias .....who found a site where I could download the sacks and made suggestions about blending them with the image I was able to create the composite. Before After
