Looks like Jacki has caught the digital scrapbooking bug. Another beauty. Great use of the mask.
Nit-picking here but I’d probably like to see a little overlapping of elements. I.e. the masked flowers larger, the framed one crowding it a bit
(I know - this comment comes from someone who seldom follows this advice. LOL. It’s just that when I see a masked item, that thought comes to me.).

Great suggestion Janice, I’ll have a go and get back to you. Always appreciate your feedback and your fresh set of eyes.

Take two with colour changes as I did not save the last one as a PSD file, so had to start again from scratch, oops. i.ibb.co/CKq1G6D/Flowers.jpg

I liked your first one but think the changes you made in the second make for a more integrated layout. I may have to copy your choice of sentiment sometime....LOVE it!

I like the second one, although that does not mean I did not like the first. I'm a fan of using photos as backgrounds and the second one does that for me. Again - I want to restate - there is no right way or wrong way to do work like this. The only person you need to please is yourself - and, you know, we all look at these things from our own perspective and have our own favorite ways of doing things. Thanks for giving it a different try - enjoyed seeing both results. EDIT -- - in looking over my old layouts, I find I'm more inclined to do things the way you did it in your first try than the second.
