Your little princess looks so sweet there in the garden Janice and you can't go wrong with one of Rosie's kits.

There are a lot of great kit designers out there, but Rosie is one of my favorite artists. She is so skilled.
I just got that font and I love it. It's funny how a font can add such a great design element to a layout - all by itself - without fooling with it. I never intended to make the title a design element, but Rosie's graphics just seemed to frame the title and make it stand out

Lovely page, Janice. I like the way her picture goes beyond the edge of the frame. I'm guessing this is the paleontologist we saw recently....she must love these pages.

Yes, our little Paleontologist - the kids have been sending more photos lately. For a while there, I was getting nothing - but then again, they were going nowhere where a photo would be taken. Glad to hear life may be getting back to at least a semblance of normality. It's been a long haul. EDITRosie's stuff is showcased at Just Art - her work is under Rosie's Designs - I get her kits when there are challenges using her kits. Just Art does not have a store like other scrapbooking sites do, so you can't buy her stuff there, but after signing up at Just Art, you can download some of her stuff. I did not suggest adding a link to her stuff in that list - because it's Just Art's designer and I don't know if she has a free standing store, outside of Just Art, to link to.

Sorry these screenshots are so large - I have not been able to figure out how to make them smaller - anyone out there know how??
That can be achieved by putting the stroke/outline on its own layer. After selecting the photo (by clicking on the thumbnail in the layers panel) open a new blank layer then use: (don't forget to deselect after stroking) When the stroke is on it's own layer, it can be moved, re-sized, the opaqueness can be lessened - you can even change the color. In this case, I first softened the edges of the photo using layer style > glow Glow color can be changed by clicking on the little color box on the right edge

Hmmmm......I just looked on the Goodies Board for Rosie and didn't see it listed. Does she go by another name? Helen, Rosie sells her kits at the two links below. The first link relates to her own Etsy Shop and the second link relates to the e-scapeandscrap.com site where if you click on ‘Designers’ in the left hand panel you will find Rosie’s Designs in the list of names. Just click on that to see the kits she has for sale. Rosie's Etsy Shop Rosie's Designs

(This store will be added to the pertinent thread in the Goodies board.)
