Bee and apple blossoms. May 30. Blossoms are always later at the summer place because of the elevations. This is an ornamental apple (small fruit) vs an eating apple.

Thanks to all who submitted entries in this round of IOW ending June 13. A wide range of photos and photoshop work in this grouping. Honorable mentions this week go to deany and PeteB Deany's Candlelight still life has a nice warm feel to it. I like the 3D effect in the frame. The colors are appealing (warm) as is the triangular presentation of the three primary objects: lamp, hibiscus and glasses/book. Nice textured background. PeteB's Breakfast sandwiches "market" photo has good human interest and a nice outdoorsy feel. It's obviously Saturday-morning-at-the market...at least that's how I see it. I like the colors and contrast of colors and light. Image of the Week goes to Helen ( hmca) Another peony shows great details in the peony petals...a very nice peony photo before the additions. The "framing" and hues of the background are appealing. The flower almost seems to pop out of the image ... 3D style.
