Like Jim, I wanted to see if I had an image that it might work with. The background was taken at the Tuckahoe Plantation in Virginia in 2017.

- Created the composite with an image from Pixabay. - Applied a Color Lookup adjustment layer (Cool Night). - Applied an Art Paper texture by Anthony Morganti (Multiply blending mode, 100% Opacity). - Created the frame effect with Filter Forge (Artistic Noise Frame).

Nicely toned and a simple background that lets the bike be the star of the show. Well thought-out edit, Sepiana!

Helen - Perfect image to go with the bike. Very pleasant, tranquil setting and the bike looks like it's been leaning against the tree all day waiting for a rider.
Sepiana - I agree with Helen. The uniform, soft tone creates a simple background that draws attention to the bike.

When I saw this I couldn't help remembering one of my favourite TV series - The Prisoner - which shows my age! It was filmed at Portmeirion in Wales where I've stayed a few times so have lots of pics in my files. So here's what I finished up with (The Prisoner logo was a penny-farthing bike): Tony

I'm guessing that would be one bumpy ride, Pete! Glad you were able to find one of your photos to work with as well.
Tony....you had me googling the series. Definitely my era but can't say I remember ever watching it. Portmeirion looks like a great place to visit and the vintage bike fits right in with the rest of the scene.

Tony's picture brought to mind a local antique store that sadly is no longer there.....the bike fits in here nicely as well.

Yep.....the drawing board is the best place to go with that bike, as it's not going anywhere else, Tom.
