White-tailed jackrabbit (eating barley in a dry field) Clive, his facial expression is priceless. Caught in the act!

A composite image of the junction of Secondary 510 and The Snake Trail. July 6, 2021. Clive, nicely done!. Thinking out of the box -- presenting this J as a composite.

I took one for the team again this week. ;-) This is a Jammer along with a cup of Joe. For the uninitiated, a Jammer is a scone with a thumbprint generously filled with well, Jam. Thanks for the theme Sepiana ... really, thanks! Bill, a double treat -- for the eyes and for the taste buds. I love it! Impressive capture of this "delicacy".

Jacki, this J is not one we see everyday. It looks like a fun game to play. Great finding!

My J is Clapham Junction in South West London, which I visited this morning. It is said to be the busiest junction in Europe, with 100 to 180 trains per hour passing through during the day. Matthew Matthew, this is quite a J! I really like how you took three shots, different angles; they emphasize the "busiest" nature of this junction.

Another two J's or double J. Today I went to St John's Wood Underground Station on the Jubilee Line. English people say Underground or Tube and Way Out. But American people say Subway and Exit in New York or Boston. Matthew Matthew, what a beautiful shot! Visually attractive composition and perspective. Great job!

Noticed this J while helping out at an open house that included this old store today: Tony, good thing you noticed this J. Great job capturing the texture and details of the wood.

"J" is for Jade, who was eight years old and adored her ballet. Jade, together with her grandmother, was tragically killed while attempting to cross the very busy A249 road (a fast dual carriageway linking two nearby Motorways) which sliced through the small village of Detling in Kent, where they lived. The deaths brought to four the number of lives the A249 had claimed. The people of Detling campaigned and raised the money for a safe crossing and in two years a pedestrian bridge was built, dedicated to memory of Jade. Incidentally, the bridge stands where the Pilgrims' Way and the North Downs Way National Trail cross the A249, so walkers who can now cross safely can learn about Jade and contribute to the upkeep of her Crossing. Brenda Brenda, what a poignant interpretation of J and the history behind it! This is the kind of image that stirs up emotions in the viewers. (It brought tears to my eyes.)

Better late than never. Couldn't think of a J. Then - right before my eyes - Jess.
