Frank, this is amazing! I love it. Please, share your technique. Thanks for the very kind comments. Duplicated the Background Copied and Placed on its own Layer CMD(Ctrl)+click on the Cello cutout layer to select it added a new layer underneath the cello cutout filled with black and masked out the neck Moved the Cello cutout layer to make it look liked it opened used the patch tool to remove the neck on the duplicated layer added a bevel on the black layer to give the impression of depth Added the notes under the Cello face layer and applied a gradient map adjustment layer, bevel and drop shadow to the notes. Frank, thanks so much! Now I understand how you created the "opened" effect.
