Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. The rules are rather simple.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.

"A" is for Antiquing. (the activity or pastime of searching or shopping for antiques) The Kit Cat clock reminds me so much of our old Village friend Steven ( Red Sky ) that I may need to go back to the shop and buy it. Thanks for the theme Sepiana!

Oh, I remember that avatar and name as well, Bill. It is a rather dreary day. So it was no surprise to see the lifeguard ALONE at the pool this morning.

A is for Arches: Here's the bridge to the US - it's been quite a while now since I last crossed not being "essential". Actually it's two bridges - one to the US and one from but they are both arched but not the same (but architecturally matched) Also A is for Antenna of which there are many around - not sure what this one does but it was good for a pic.. Walking in London this Afternoon I saw three Alberts - the Albert Memorial and the Albert Hall caught in the same shot. i.ibb.co/xJQ01cC/A-1.jpgReturning to Victoria Station for the train home, we passed the Albert Pub. i.ibb.co/KmWLtzk/A-2.jpgMatthew

I went to London with Matthew yesterday in search of two Arches. Admiralty Arch was unfortunately disfigured by "works in progress", but still looked impressive. i.ibb.co/X4mNsLf/Admiralty.jpgMy second Arch, the Wellington Arch crowned by its splendid Quadriga statue, was still as impressive as ever. i.ibb.co/9sPfb6w/Wellington.jpgBrenda

All photographed in our backyard this evening. Agave in a pot on our deck. Deep-rooted alfalfa surviving the drought along a grassy right-of-way. Amur maple overhanging into our yard from our neighbours'. Asparagus from Costco. Aspen poplar leaf.Clive, great images -- sharp and detailed. My favorite one is the Asparagus with all the negative space.

Alcohol or Adam's Ale - I know which I prefer! Dennis Dennis, and so do I! Great DOF and spot-on focus on the two A's. A visually appealing image!

Thanks for the theme Sepiana! Bill, I love the inclusion of Kit Cat in your image (and the nod to Steven). Who can forget his avatar? And all done with your trademark -- sharp and detailed image.

Tony, two amazing captures of A. My favorite one is the antenna shot -- lots of lines and angles. Very geometric!
