Well I took a number of photos for this theme at a playground while walking in the park today......came home and saw the shadow on the kitchen chair and went with that.
Duplicated, flipped and played with the geometry filter in RAW. Placed one on top of the other and used subtract blend mode.....masked till I got an interesting pattern.

Poison Mushroom  - those berries are seeds and they are edible and used in cooking en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lotus_seed (I haven't actually tried eating them yet) |

Frothy coffee - or surface of the moon.  I bet the second photo would be fantastic if someone played around with colours. Your first picture - of the chair - is amazing, Helen. Clever to spot that. |

I'm finding this to be a great challenge. Not sure all of my submissions work well but it is inspiring me to look for possibilities in places that I never would have considered. Two from this morning....
