I do not like this. I could not get what I wanted - even with my playing around. But, what is irritating me, is that when I tried to use the clone tool, it would not do it's job. I had flattened the image, but when I selected the part I wanted to clone, nothing happened.

whippet, try the Spot Healing Brush. I believe this tool will do the job. - Choose a brush size that barely covers the spot being repaired. - Select Content--Aware. NOTE:You can also make a selection of the offending spot before using this tool; this will limit the area Elements will search for material to use in the repair. You can also do this repair on a new, blank layer. Just make sure to turn on Sample All Layers. The advantage of working on a blank layer is that you will be able to blend your work in later by adjusting the Opacity of the "healed area".

That little niggly bit aside (and I understand why it will niggle you) I think you have done a great job with your cameo whippet. Love the frame you have used - very stylish. Sepiana has given you some good suggestions as to how to go about getting rid of that annoying part. It's things like this that help us learn as we go on. Don't let it discourage you.

Thank you for your help, Sepiana - yet again. Lillias - I found the frame when you put the Cameo tutorial on in August. I can't remember where I got it, but it was free. It is - or, was - a png image.

Thank you for your help, Sepiana - yet again. whippet, you are most welcome! Glad to help. BTW, in my previous post I forgot to mention using another tool, the Healing Brush, to fix such problems. So, here it is . . . The Spot Healing Brush vs the Healing Brush
