By 'kits', does that mean all of the ingredients come in one package, and you just arrange them as, and where, you wish?
I wouldn't have a clue how to do anything from 'scratch'.

We keep a list of sites which provide such kits (free and for purchase). Digital Scrapbooking Kits, Papers, Embellishments, etc. |

A kit usually comprises several different folders. How many depends on the size of the kit. For example the kit I referenced called Artful Antics has 5 folders in it - one with a selection of different background papers, 3 folders each with a selection of elements (objects, flowers, leaves etc:) and another folder containing some ready made word art. Some kits also have a folder for frames or masks - as I say it depends on the size of the kit just how much you get. Then it’s up to you to pick and mix the various bits and pieces you want to put on your page. You can of course also add other items from elsewhere and your own images too. You don't always have to buy a full kit. You can choose to buy the elements alone or background papers if you like them - you can be flexible. |
