I'm sure this has been asked before but right now I'm to tired to look for it. You all have convinced me to use "postimage" and it is easy to do but is there a way for it to display full size rather than having to double click a thumb nail? I'll be going to my chair for a nap when I get the answer so don't wait to long.

I have tried all the different configurations of postimage and I always get the same size thumbnail. I figured it was the way it had to be, but I'm interested in an Admin's input. I would like my thumbnail to not be a thumbnail, but a bigger photo, also. However, I will still use postimage, because I don't have to worry what size I begin for my post - I can choose a size at upload time --- and because postimage is so simple to use.

At this time I don't think there is any way to control the size of the thumbnail. I have tried several times to contact them but so far they have never responded. Aggravating!

Hi Tom I found this which suggests Admin can change settings re thumbnail (from here: support.proboards.com/thread/482208/postimage-plugin-shows-thumbnail-full ) "There's a setting available in the plugin that will let the images display as a thumbnail or in the full size. If you visit your admin panel, navigate to Plugins > Manage. Click on the Simple Image Upload plugin from the list and then on the next page click on the "Settings" tab. Once there look for the BBCode option and set this from Thumbnail to Hotlink. Save the changes and images posted with this code will appear in full size from that point forward
(Keep in mind that images posted previously will still appear in the thumbnail form)"
If found several useful links after Google-ing "postimage not thumbnail in thread"Hopefully, this will help?

Thanks, MM Good to know I understood what I read, both in the post and in the article etc Glad it's been helpful. Is there a tutorial regarding your glossy cherries, or whatever they are? (I've just picked some cherries off my little tree and they're that colour Fantasic taste and nicely sweet!) I'd love to know how to create such a glossy surface, just for the challenge of the technique really.

Here's a photo of the cherries, almost ripe! My apologies for the standard of photography. I'm definitely not a photographer so use a simple, basic 'point and shoot' camera

Oops! Forgot it would display large image Is there any way individuals can select what size displays in the post. My feeling is that the threads are going to become tedious to scroll through so I'm wondering if the thumbnail was actually the better option Julie

Julie,
When you click on Upload via postimage.org you get a dropdown box to choose size.

Thanks, everyone Now, I'll just test how to select what size to have displayed in the post Ah! So, the image is only displayed in the post - aborted!. Clicking on it doesn't enlarge it anymore. In fact, clicking on your images, MMm takes me to the postimage window to upload an image Personally, I think it needs reverting back to having the thumbnail in the post and the ability to click on the link to see an enlargement (depending on how it's been selected) in a new window. What do others think?

I like it the new way. It gives the user more choice.
