kdcintx, beautiful! It looks so peaceful, a "Silent Night" effect. How did you do it?

tourerjim , this is an interesting effect. I like the bold colors. How did you do it? Arr okay, do a background copy, Filter, Stylize, Find Edges, transparency to 50%, save as image_new.pse, then open it in Raw. In Raw, Auto slider adjustments, Clarity slider move to upper most about 52+, then a wee bit of plus Vibrance and Saturation, open to Expert, Enhance, Shadow/Highlights, adjust sliders 30%, 23%, 72%. Then placed the moon behind the tree and blend into the background.

Thanks for the comments. Version 2 - the trees. Frank, this is awesome! A mix of kaleidoscope and image stacking. It's mesmerizing, hypnotical.

Used High Key filter in CE 4, followed with Ancient filter in original Topaz Impression, finally Sepiana's sketch effect on multiply 100%....think that's it! Helen, interesting effect! It brings to mind rock carving. Creative use of these two filters.

This helps a lot!

This was not what I intended but I have been having odd issues with the new Landscape Mixer filter in Photoshop and once in a while it creates multiple versions of the image at reducing sizes. What the problem is I'm not sure but I took a screen shot of the result and thought why not post it here! Tony, this may not be what you had in mind but I like it. It has a visually appealing abstract look.
