Photographed by a neighbor on our backyard lake. Like the Shelducks we had visit us a few years back these are not native to FL and we just happen to be on their migratory route. Hope I get to see them today.
You can figure which one is male - they are always the prettiest - they kinda look like Mallards without the green colorphotos: personal/Cornell Lab

Nice Janice. I am not the only one who thinks they should be call ring-billed ducks vs ring-necked Ducks They are handsome birds. Thanks.

Great page, the male is quite a stunning looking duck with those black feathers and that bright yellow eye.
