Welcome to Monday - I hope those of you celebrating had a lovely Thanksgiving with friends and family! Thank you to those of you who have contributed over the past week. My selections: - "let the festivities begin"- by deany - deany had several variations on this theme and I liked this one the best. A pretty and nostalgic composition for the holiday season! - "keys" - by blackmutt. Black and white seems like the right treatment for this old typewriter and I think the framing of the shot is very good. My IOW selection - "Día de los Muertos" by fotofrank. With some credit to the graffiti artist (I'm assuming that is the source), fotofrank has edited this shot to be somewhat haunting and disturbing to me. I find the overall effect to be very powerful. Congratulations everyone! |

Thanks for judging, Andy! Congratulations to Dean and Judy for two images that both have a nostalgic feel.
I agree with Andy's description, Frank. It is definitely "haunting and disturbing". Congratulations for the IOW selection.
Would love to know a little bit about how you created this image, if you don't mind sharing.

Thanks for Judging Andy! I Like to think that the image has Impact. Congrats to Dean and Judy!! Here is my starting iPhone image with out my custom profile, LUT and my recipe in NIK color Efex 4. I did add real human eye from a portrait that I had Taken along with replacing and masking a few bricks and the bolt on the right eye.  |
