Each year, ICE is presented at these Gaylord (Marriott) Resort Hotel locations - Orlando, Washington DC, Nashville, and Dallas - there's even a slide made of ice In 2010, we visited the Nashville venue (when it was still owned by the Gaylord Opryland Hotel chain) and had a great time. I believe that is where we attended the Louise Mandrell Christmas concert. No matter where - her concert is a highlight of any Christmas season.In addition to the ICE show, the hotel had gingerbread house decorating, ornament making, and a huge room of themed trees photos: cats4jan |

That would be interesting to see Janice and you have made a nice record of your visit. There are places that have whole hotels made entirely of ice that you can stay in if you are brave enough. There are some fabulous images of some here... Ice Hotels |

I saw a movie about a ice hotel and just had to research the concept. Very interesting.

I had always thought there was only one Ice Hotel. I have seen a couple of programmes on TV about the building of it.
Strangely, I saw George Clarke's Amazing Spaces, on Wednesday. One part was about the glass igloos. Each one has a warning button inside, which activates when the Northern Lights are about to appear.
