'Tis the season for decorations so that seemed like an appropriate theme for the month. Many decorations rely on colour for their effect so look out for ones that will also look decorative in black and white.
Decorations cover a wide range of possible subjects from Christmas trees and garden gnomes, to things hung on the wall or round your neck so feel free to interpret the subject liberally.
As always photos should be your own but can be new ones or ones from your archives. Any additional information about the subject or the conversion from colour to Black and White is always appreciated.
I'll start off with a seasonal photo of Santa on his decorated sleigh - taken a year ago. Local kids get their photo taken with Santa after the annual parade. Last year it was done outside and it snowed. Doing it again this Saturday but in a warmer spot hopefully. I did do a sky replacement and the conversion was done in Silver Efex Pro 2.
