How many possible images are allowed in a single post, and is there a maximum pixel size limit per image? Thank you! There is not explicit limit to the number of "images" allowed in a single post because you are not posting images, but rather links to images (as Andy said); links are simply text (you can confirm this by clicking the BBCode tab at the bottom of the editor window. You will see the "code" which is what is "really" being posted). By extension, since they are not images but only links to images, there can not be any limit to the size of the image (the system has not concept of what lies behind any link).

Is there a difference between using something like Flickr or imgbb.com?
The short answer is yes, but it may be helpful to understand that difference. When you use our Add image to post via imgbb.com plugin, what is displayed is a thumbnail of the image; to see the full-size image you simply need to click on the thumbnail. That is the advantage of the plugin; you get to see a smaller version of the image, and if you wish to see the full resolution version you just click on it. With Flickr you are choosing the size of the image to be displayed, period.
