Fake LensBaby Effect
This Creative Effect Challenge will show you how to create a Fake LensBaby Effect from your images using Layers in Photoshop Elements or the full version of Photoshop. Please read the entire tutorial before you start.

Let’s get started:
1. Open your image.
2. Duplicate the background Layer (Ctrl/Cmd+j).
3. Make sure the newly duplicated Layer is selected.
4. Go to Filter>Blur>Radial Blur
5. Enter an amount between 10 and 35 and make sure that the Blur Method is set to Zoom.
Note:
You can tell Elements where to center the blur by clicking on the point of the Zoom, holding and dragging it.
6. Add a Layer Mask to the duplicated layer
7. Make sure your foreground color is set to Black.
8. Select a Large soft round brush with Hardness set at 0%.
9. You may want to lower the opacity of the brush and build the effect gradually.
10. Now paint with black on the layer mask to allow the background layer to show thru and remove the radial blur effect from the part of the image you don’t want the Fake LensBaby effect on. Using a lower Opacity setting will require that you paint multiple times to remove the radial blur.
11. If you painted out the effect more than you wanted to, you can always paint with white to bring back the radial blur effect.
12. Or you can use the action I supplied and just start painting with black on the layer mask to allow the background layer to show thru and remove the radial blur effect from the part of the image you don’t want the Fake LensBaby effect on. Using a lower Opacity setting will require that you paint multiple times to remove the radial blur.
