Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. The rules are rather simple.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.

I think I've used this wooden sculpture before but it does make a good S-curve. Taken inside on a cold dull day and did a sky replacement to remind me of brighter warmer days ahead! Tony

S-hooks. We've got sooo many s-hooks. A fun thing I learned about them today, is that if you lay them side-by-side they make little hearts. So if I forget to mail your individual Valentine card to you, please accept this as my theme entry and my Valentine card to the group. Thanks for the theme Sepiana!

An ess made with the crooks of two walking canes. The upper crook shows a tarnished silver band that is hallmarked and date stamped around 1905 as I recall. (I'm too lazy to date the date stamp ... I don't want to clean the dark tarnish anyway.) The band has the initials of my grandfather's father, WAB. I never met my great grandfather and only vaguely recall my grandfather (Percival Bowman) who passed in 1951 when I was four. I brought the canes back from England in 1981.

This is a brass vase made in China ca 1850. (So I was told anyway.)

Lovely day here: warm and sunny. A tad breezy but that's why it is warm. (13°C / 56°F) This was a bit fortuitous. Double esses.

Curious as to why that bench is facing the wall whippet?

Shows how observant I am, Helen, I never even noticed. May be because the snakes are better to see from that side. Well done for spotting that.

I have been searching all this week for "S" curves but without success and was having to admit that I was defeated by this week's challenge. Today on a walk I was busy admiring an elegant house in Shoreham, Kent, when I suddenly realised that there in front of me on the top and bottom sections of the impressive wrought iron gate were some wonderful "S" curves - Eureka! i.ibb.co/m9w2LvH/G.jpgi.ibb.co/vY0CMjX/L.jpgBrenda

Tony, this is a visually appealing image -- negative space, contrast (red sculpture vs blue sky), a touch of clouds. Well done!

Took me awhile to think of something but think the top of this vase works well. Helen, I agree. This vase does have S-curves. Nice job capturing its details.
