I’m way out of my comfort zone with this one as it isn’t really my scene but I had fun playing with it. BG is just a gradient layer. Flower image from Pixabay, Other images/clipart from Ashe Designs, HiClipart, pngimg. Overlay effects - Stained Edges by Anna Aspnes , a Grainy Vignette from Spoongraphics and a watercolour overlay from ‘Keep your Memories’ kit by PrelestnayaP Design.

Excellent blending and layering. The toughest part of this is finding all those items and then getting them to work together. Thanks for the view of the layers panel.

Thanks for your kind words Janice. Unfortunately the layers panel as a .jpg image only tells you so much...it doesn’t convey whether there is a blend mode applied to a layer or a change of opacity etc: but it’s the best I can do to show how I put the page together.

it doesn’t convey whether there is a blend mode applied to a layer You have the option to add a descriptive narrative about the various layers - but I realize sometimes too much info puts people 'to sleep' or alternately, it scares them. But for those who are interested, I do not believe one can give too much info. I assume someone does not know how to do something - that's why I give a lot of info. I figure, those who already know how to do it, will just skip the extra info. You have shown your blending skills are top notch - it's a learning process and even for those who are good at it, it can be hit or miss. I'm one of those 'hit or miss' people (without the 'good at it' part). However, when it works, I am so pleased with myself.

But for those who are interested, I do not believe one can give too much info. Finding a balance on the information provided is not something I find easy. I know I can be put off myself by an overdose of information all at once. My brain takes time to process things, especially now at my time of life. However I am quite open to anyone asking me questions and if I can help I am willing to do so. it's a learning process and even for those who are good at it, it can be hit or miss. I'm one of those 'hit or miss' people (without the 'good at it' part). However, when it works, I am so pleased with myself. Yes, it is very much a learning process Janice, and I do so agree with you, when something works there is a great sense of pleasure and achievement.

I love what you have put together, including being able to see your layer panels. I will look and see if I do things the same way or learn how someone else achieves an effect.

This has a lovely mystical look to it, Lillias. Interesting to see the number of layers, Lillias. Thanks for sharing your screenshots.
