I attempted a colour block style for this one. Clouds are brushes from photoshopsupply. Frame by Jodi. BillieJean, and your attempt was a successful one. This is not an easy effect to tackle yet you nailed it.

Playing around with filters - a comic/sketch one from Filter Forge and a charcoal sketch one from Topaz Impression: Tony, very creative use of these two filters. I really like how it resulted in soft, pastel colors. Do you remember which comic/sketch filter from Filter Forge you used?

The Filter Forge filter I used was Comic Book by Vladimir Golovin - didn't much like the presets but found something I liked by tweaking the settings. Tony

I applied the Van Gogh effect here: Tom, great pairing of effect and subject. It does look like something van Gogh would paint, especially the clouds.

It does look like the work of a comic artist. Great idea creating a Droste effect with the Comic Book image. The results are mesmerizing.
