"Like bees around a honeypot" - Easter Bank Holiday crowds always flock to Oxleas Meadow in south east London, attracted by the nearby car park, the cafeteria and the views. Just a few hundred yards away, you can be "Far from the Madding Crowds" on Eaglesfield Green. Brenda Brenda, great interpretation of these two sayings. I love the 2nd image; it "speaks" a thousand words -- the lone walker going across the frame (getting away from the madding crowds). |

Easier said than done Meaning: What is suggested sounds easy but it is more difficult to actually do it When the going gets tough, the tough get going Meaning: Strong people don't give up when they come across challenges Well begun is half done Meaning: Beginning a project well makes it easier to do the rest I watched this driver drive past the turn and then proceed to back up to successfully make the turn onto the road in front of our condo. Helen, great job! Each and every image fits the sayings to a T. Not an easy task! |

It's water under the bridge! Tony, the shooting angle (low) is perfect for this saying. Our eyes are immediately drawn to the water flowing under the bridge. Great composition! |
