Fun page, Janice. I like the background and fonts you chose to work with your pinball machines.

Always loved this song, and your page really captures the fun of playing the machines. The little girl could do with a small step to help her see better, I remember having the same problem at that age..

Thanks guys. On the trip, we ended up going to the bars - twice. Both had great game rooms. The bar restaurant in the upper right hand photo just opened - has a definite “lodge” vibe. I loved the decor.

This layout was a struggle. I'm not 100% sure about how it turned out, but I decided to leave it be I had the basics - photos, text - in place -- I tried many different backgrounds and doodads but they clashed with the photos - then decided simple was best How I got there: Click on this to go to full res - where you can read the text better
Plus, I created the 'tilt' graphic from an idea I found on the internet - it's just simple outlining The talk bubble is from a shape in PSE - it was a solid shape, so I outlined it and deleted the solid layer. To do this, make sure to place your outline on its own layer - the outline was reshaped, to conform to the text, using the move tool. The 'mat' behind the title was a brush - I almost always use a brush if I need to mat a title or journaling The title font is Art Brewery Regular The other font is Otamendi Neglected to note where I got the diamond graphic (which was composed of squares until I elongated it) nor where I got the backgrounds. I had opened so many things to 'play' with that I got lost...

Thanks for breaking down how you created your page, Janice. I love when you and Lillias do that from time to time as I always find it enlightening.
I did wonder about the Otamendi font....it looks perfect for journaling to me. Will download it later today.
