The horse I mentioned in my layout, the one with with the strongest ties to our County - Simplification 35-1 - came in 4th. The winner - Rich Strike - was 80-1.
If you had chosen the top 4 winners - the Superfecta - you would’ve won $325,500 for a dollar bet.
They never tell you how many win the Superfecta. At least I never seem to find out. Maybe no one picked the four. There were two long shots in the top four.
