Another needle felted attempt, though I think this kiwi may have been cavorting with a penguin as I couldn't quite get the shape together... The look on each of their faces tells a story...lol.

This is a hoot. You posted a felt sheep before, right? To be clear, you actually made the neat felt critters from wool/fur and then took photos and then you did digital scrap booking, right? The kiwi bird is hilarious even if it looks like a penguin hybrid. Oh BTW, here in the northern hemisphere, BFF stands for Best Friends Forever. Nice colors and textures. The overall effect is pleasing. ... Yeah, that bird makes me laugh.

Making the kiwi was the first time using a wire frame, actually 3 pipe cleaners that make the feet and then the spine and onto the beak, then shaping with the spun wool until you get the desired shape or not...I may have inadvertantly created a new species called the Pengwi! And you're right about the BFF, same here but I've been ill and that's my only excuse...somehow got lost in translation.
