I have used this owl to good effect in several of my composite images. I look forward to seeing what new settings it shows up in!

I played a bit and grabbed some more stock images to create "Night Flyers". This includes lots of layers at varying blend modes and opacities, 2 textures from Kersten Frank, and a few other tidbits from Pixabay. I had a lot of fun with this!!!

Helen, I'm glad I didn't see yours while I was working on mine. I might have had to rethink my bats! LOL Love the mood you created in your image...it's all blended together nicely!

Images added from Pixabay...In Affinity Photo I extracted the owl from the background. Then I added a little texture effect to the owl and completed the page in PSE. Dinner Time.

Really like the depth you have created in your image, Vicki.
Looks like he is ready to fly into my den, Lillias.

A black and white version Frank, this is so much more than just a black and white version. You've created an entirely new creature! Awesome!!!

- Created the composite with an image from Pixabay. - Applied a Color Lookup adjustment layer (Stale Blue). - Applied a texture by Clive Sax (Pantanal, Multiply blending mode, 75% Opacity). - Applied an Adobe Paper Texture Pro (Raw Linen, Overlay blending mode, 50% Opacity).

Sepiana - It would make a great page in a children's book.
