Images submitted to this thread will be considered for the next IOW selections by a member judge. Please remember to add a title to your image.Just a reminder....being that the thread allows for members to include their sources, our members who post on the Digital Scrapbooking/Digital art Board are welcome and encouraged, to submit their work. While you may "Like" an image please don't add comments to this thread.
In keeping with this post by Andy, all images selected by the judge will all be added to the IOW 2022 Gallery. It is hoped that this small change will encourage more of our members to submit their work and make our galleries more representative of the fine work they continue to share at PSE&M.

Why?This bird used to visit us on the back fence but I haven't seen him for awhile. Don't know what kind he was so we just always called him "Curved Beak".

I wanted to post this while I had some time this afternoon. Posted in the order I would like to present them. If we are open to it, we can learn a lot from reading the commentary of our judges. Lillias made me view Andy’s image in a whole new way last week. She identified an emotional response that I had completely missed. As a result, I have chosen this week’s images with the idea of being there in mind……. Blue Hour Ferry Transit by pete61 …….reminds me of being on similar ferries when we have traveled. There is a feeling of anticipation for what lies ahead, or in reverse the feeling of contentment from a day well spent. After Dinner View by dandc ……evokes a quiet, peaceful feeling. I could imagine standing there watching the sun go down and hearing the shore birds. All is right with the world. Why? by Jim …….Yes, I know that feeling too. Look at that sad looking bird. I imagine we can all identify with that bleak feeling of despair. Life is not always the way we would like it to be. Finally, One Light by jackscrap takes me full circle. I would like to think that if I was standing there I would see the potential for the beautiful image that Jacki created. I see an analogy to the “Light at the End of the Tunnel.” And so it seems the perfect ending for what I have seen and felt from the images submitted this week.
All of these images will be added to our 2022 Gallery.

hmca, thankyou Helen for sharing your insights on how each image affected you and why, very happy that you managed to find the light in the end. It was taken after a night out to watch our football team play, they lost and on the walk back to the car through the city I needed to find something to lift my spirits and it was then I saw the light. Congratulations also to pete61, dandc and Jim for their excellent images.
