Thank you for the challenge Sepiana. Nice image. Took into Topaz Studio Texture Effects and applied this effect - 001 Canvas Background. On a duplicate of the original image in PSE I ran a sketch art action by sgcanturk from Mighty Deals Placed the result of that on top of the first image and used the linear dodge blend mode to blend the two together. Using a layer mask on the sketch action layer and watercolour brushes by Nathan Brown I brushed over the sketch action layer to allow some of the first image to show through. Hoping to create more of a painted look. Then on separate layers I applied one or two splatter watercolour brushes also by Nathan Brown. Applied a dark border to finish.

New table and apples from StockSolo. Used Creme Anglais texture and the High Key, Bleach By-pass, and Glamour Glow filters in CE 4

BillieJean, nice job with these watercolor brushes. You did create a painted look. I like the soft colors.
