It looks like you've gotten very nice contrast and detail, Charles. Hoping you are happy with this one. Know I would be. Assuming you set your camera back to the RAW setting. What did you use following RAW?

What did you use following RAW? Thank you for your very kind words Helen!! Yes I am very happy with this one. Yes I did set my camera back to Raw just fine. I hope you will not be upset with me, but this photo is SOOC (straight out of camera) - I did not do any extra work on this photo other than cropping it square and adding the date.

I took a couple more shots last night of the Moon. I used my Canon 90D with my Sigma 150-600 Lens and my Sigma 2.0 Tele-Extender When ever I use my tele-extender to double my focal length to 1200mm that cuts the amount of light coming thru the lens thus my 150-600 f6.5 lens changes to f13 1/500 second - f13 with ISO 2000 I had been thinking for a few days for the next moon shot I do I would do something different. I remembered something I have seen other people do in the past but I had never thought of doing this. I have a second older 2.0 extender made by Kenko. I added that to my setup now making my lens 2400mm!!!! Now my settings are this: 1/500 second - f25 with ISO 4000 I did do some post work on these photos in PSE2021 with my Raw photos

I am curious if anyone thinks I over worked the photos, or did I just do "OK"?

I am curious if anyone thinks I over worked the photos, or did I just do "OK"? Absolutely not. Your moon shots are excellent. Charles. Just curious why you would use f25 ... unless it is a function of the two extenders. Hummm ... f8 with one extender would become f16 (?) and a second would push the effective aperture higher. A lower aperture and lower ISO might help, but I think your moon photos are very good as is.

Thank you Pontiac for your very kind words on my Post work which is very very limited as I have almost zero experience on doing that. With a 2.0 Extender yes a lens at f8 does become f16 with one extended to the camera body and lens. With two 2.0 extenders then the f value does become f32 On my lens at 600mm my f/stop is f6.3, with one 2.0 extender now at 1200mm then it becomes f13 with two 2.0 extenders at 2400mm now it becomes f25. I cannot change that having two extenders mounted. There is also a 1.4 extender which I bought, but now I wish I never did, but with my lens at 150mm (no extender) my f/stop is f5.0. At 600mm my f/stop is f6.3 When I install the 1.4 extender now at 150mm (now 210mm) my f/stop is f7.1 and at 600mm (now 840mm) my f/stop with the 1.4 is f9.0
