Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. The rules are rather simple.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.NOTE This week's theme was suggested by billz. (Thanks, Bill!)

Thanks for choosing my theme idea Sepiana. I hope everyone has a bit of fun with it. The horizon in Portland this morning featured several US Navy, Coast Guard and Canadian Navy vessels heading back to sea after a long weekend at our Rose Festival. This is the USS Michael Monsoor sailing under the Fremont Bridge.

The horizon here this afternoon - soybeans as far as the eye can see - seeded a few weeks ago and looking very healthy. Tony

For most of the day the horizon line blended between sea and sky.....finally was able to take this. Every once in a while I manage to be up for sunrise....maybe later in the week.

Well not quite the sunrise I was hoping for but what here's this morning's. Look who is up early this morning...I think it's a long time since I ever saw a sunrise in person. I like my bed too much!

Well not quite the sunrise I was hoping for but what here's this morning's. Helen, I am pretty sure you could get several million for this image in the NFT market. I really love this composition. It obviously follows the "rule of thirds" (to the max) with that container ship adding a nice interruption. This a seriously nice photo. Killer huge wall hanging.

Not up for sunrise but a mid-afternoon visit to a Lake Huron viewpoint - unusually nothing on the horizon and no one sitting - explained by it being a very hot day. And looking the other way lots more empty seats, dog walkers and the bridge to the US Tony

During our walk today in the Hertfordshire countryside, the views across the vale of St Albans gave us two horizons, the first being the line of treetops, while the second and farthest horizon was punctuated by the distinctive tower of Napsbury Hospital and to its left St Albans Cathedral. i.ibb.co/stVqkTp/H2.jpgBrenda
