Your critters are beautifully photographed, Clive! The only time I may have seen a mink would have been in a zoo! Aww, thank you Helen. I've only ever seen a few mink on rivers while fishing. There are a few raccoons here in the valley.

And here we have three Cs A canola field, the Village of Cowley and clouds. July 2, 2022. PS: It is sized to 4K and more details can be seen in the larger image. Would be nice to walk into that fields only (say) 300m from the village and shoot it again. But I won't/can't do that. EDIT: Wow! That was an amazing display of typos!!ππ

My idea for this changed when I opened the refrigerator and saw the carrot soup. So C..... is for CARROTS AND CARROT SOUP
Helen, good thinking (and a healthy choice of C). Nicely composed and colorful image.

Candy! Went grocery shopping today. Unfortunately they were out of my wife and my favorite fun sized chocolate bars..."100 Grand". And another Candy I dug up in my archives: Jim, WOW! Thatβs a lot of candy! Great shots, amazing details. Thanks for acknowledging the 2nd image came from your archives. More candy!

C is for cheetah and Cape Barren Geese with chicks. Jacki, all perfect for this theme. The shot of the cheetah stands out. His facial expression is priceless; he's posing for the camera. Very creative composition in the crochet image. I really like the corner-to- corner approach.

The CATford Shopping CENTRE in south London. Two "C"s I saw today. Matthew Matthew, what a finding! Not your every day cat. I like how you zoomed in to capture its details. Look at that face!

is for Chickadees It looks like our resident Black-capped Chickadees have a family this year. This is an adult and a juvenile that were among the 5 or 6 Black-capped Chickadees flying around this AM cjt, I like how you captured these two Chickadees amidst the foliage and tree branches. This would look great hanging on the wall.

A cup of coffee at an outdoor cafe. Thanks for the theme Sepiana! Bill, great capture of urban life starting with C. The angle you took this shot (eye level with the cup of coffee) makes it very unique.

My "C" is for Cornish Pasty. We made these today, experimenting with the pastry and the filling - absolutely delicious and better than any shop-bought version. They were first made for the Cornish tin miners who worked underground the whole day. The wives would bake the pasties with a thick crust around one side, so that the miners could hold the pasty with unwashed hands, eat the main part and discard the contaminated crust. A very practical and delicious idea. If anybody is interested, the link below will show you how to make them. They are worth the effort! www.youtube.com/watch?v=pzNugUSsLLIDennis Dennis, this C is a treat for the eyes and the for the taste buds. Awesome capture of this delicacy! I love Cornish Pasty but I'm a disaster trying to make them myself. I let my British friends supply me with them. I get them for my birthday and for any other "special" event in between.
