I clicked "upload via postimage.org"; then browsed to my file on my PC; then clicked "upload image/photo" but it keeps putting my url into the comment box no matter how often I try it, and I never see the BBC code indicator either. I even tried C&P the url into the top box instead of the comment box. Nothing works. Help please.

I just tried using postimage and my image shows as a little square symbol. This has happened before. It seems like sometimes postimage gets this little quirk. However, I find the whole process very frustrating and choose to use cubeupload for my gallery. However, this is just my personal preference.
Tom usually comes on around this time. hopefully he will have some answers for you.

Jim and blackmutt, the procedure that is outlined above should work. However, I just tried it and my image shows as a little square symbol. This has happened before. Thank you, I haven't had any problems since you gave me the instructions. I tried to attach the link you gave me last week, but couldn't. Can you post it again for Jim? It worked perfectly for me. thanks again!!!

This is the link to the directions that SHOULD work. However, I just tried it and it didn't show my image.

The URL does go into the comment box! The problem is that the gallery plugin and the postimage.org plugin do not play well together. There is also one more thing you need to do; please use this link to the FAQ with the specifics of this procedure.

Tom,
Thanks for the info. link. After several more tries I got it to work. In the process I discovered a couple of nuances to posting in your gallery that the link did not mention which may help others too:
1. You still have to leave the first, complete string in the comment space even after you shorten it up and paste the shortened url (minus the "s7" or other s-number that's there) into the image url area, or the photo will not show up in your post. (I was always deleting it after C & P it into the image url area.)
2. You also have to leave the "period" that is right after the "s-xx" number in the shortened url that you will copy & paste.
I also have two other quick questions:
A. What is the quickest way to get to your own gallery? Currently, the only way I know to find my gallery is to click on "latest gallery posts" and then scroll down 'til I see mine.
B. How do we put a "title" to our gallery images? Right now, I have been entering my titles in the comment area. Thanks. Well, I just noticed that my titles aren't showing up at all, so maybe that function not available?

You can also go to Individual User Gallery.

Ok, so either way I guess we have to scroll down until we see our latest gallery entry.

Jim,
Here are a couple of options. Both require you start within the Individual User Gallery board and are looking at all the galleries.
- Check the box next to your gallery, then go under Actions: Bookmark. This will bookmark your gallery and put a "Bookmark" menu on the top of forum for you. - If you mouse-over the "New" icon next to your gallery and right-click, you should have an option to bookmark the link (how will depend on which browser you use). The link will be of the form: "http://photoshopelementsandmore.com/threads/recent/904" . This isn't a forum bookmark, but a bookmark or favorite within your browser. This will always take you to your most recent gallery posts.

Is there any way to put a link to one's gallery in our signatures?

Thanks Andy! I've done it! I think everyone should do this, then we can get directly to their galleries from their posts! Bayla

Hi Bayla,
I did that in my sig line too, but how did you rename/shorten it to just say "Bayla's Gallery? I right-clicked it but saw no option to rename it.
