The Northern climate must be good for them; the Longhorns around here are lean as a whip.

Thanks all. They are handsome animals. The Northern climate must be good for them These guys were here last year (got an awesome photo of one) and they were just moved to this pasture recently as they were not here last week. They are obviously not "meat" animals. "Recreational" or possible show animals. And the pastures here are excellent this year. They would be given supplemental feed in dry years. They were quite bothered by mosquitoes last night.
