I missed the "murals" challenge. I got into town yesterday and took photos of the murals.
On the old Legion building
These three are all the same mural from different angles. The car license plate says 1949, but the murals are recent. Just reflecting the earlier years.
It is ranching country
This is the story of how the town got its name almost 150 years ago. I doubt if the NW police would be wearing their "red serges" in the field like that. (I won't even comment in the disproportionate head on the horseman.
