Another attempt at creating a page from our little get-away.
Now to the OOPS.......We took an 8 mile one way drive through the preserve. When I saw something interesting my husband would stop the car and I would hop out to take a picture. Sometimes I would use my phone so that I might have something for "Today's Picture". Well after one such stop we traveled quite a distance when I realized that I didn't have my phone. I thought it must have fallen out of my pocket at the last stop. Being it is one-way I knew I would have to walk back and just hoped I would find it. I got out of the car, preparing to walk back when I saw my phone on top of the hood of the car! It was amazing that it didn't fall off. My husband who has helped me search for my lens cap more times than either one of us like to remember is looking forward to telling this story to the grandkids.
BUT....if I had thought like cats4jan , I would have taken a picture of the phone on the hood of the car with my camera, and could have added a bit of humor (?) to the page above.
