Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. The rules are rather simple.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.NOTE
This week's theme was a joint suggestion by Dennis, Brenda, and Matthew -- dennis9. (Thanks, Dennis, Brenda, and Matthew!)

Pacific oyster shell (bleached) Found this in our garden at the summer place. We brought it home from BC a few years ago. You might not know that commercially produced Pacific oysters are not native to North America. The Pacific Oyster is a non-indigenous species purposely introduced into British Columbia starting around 1912 for aquaculture production on licenced tenured aquaculture sites. www.pac.dfo-mpo.gc.ca/fm-gp/mplans/oyster-huitre-ifmp-pgip-sm-eng.html

On our walk yesterday we saw this unfinished SHELL of a building, which will soon be home to many families. i.ibb.co/mNbpCvq/S380.jpgMatthew

Two shells which have ornamented our bathroom for almost fifty years, souvenirs of long-ago holidays. Dennis Dennis, what precious souvenirs! Great job capturing their shapes and intricate patterns. The round shell is beautiful!

Rowing shells from this morning's walk. Thanks for the theme Sepiana Dennis, Brenda, and Matthew. Bill, very creative shooting angle, drawing our eyes towards these rowing shells. Great capture of their details!

jackscrap , very unusual shells. Good idea getting up close & personal with them to capture their complex designs.
