I am just recently starting to use layer groups - they are pretty slick. Don't know what took me so long to get 'on board'
Thanks for the template - how nice of you to share your hard work

It was a great learning experience for me, Janice. I don't use layer groups that often either. Happy to share, hope you can use it, or tweak it, as I know it's not the square format that scrappers use.

Can I second what Janice said and say thank you for sharing your lovely template with us Helen. Oh and I have a friend who never scraps in the square format much preferring portrait style. So I'm just saying the format of your template is not a problem.

Thanks, Lillias. And thank you for "proofing" the PSD to make it more user friendly!

Your template gave me the perfect excuse to showcase my favourite animal... All images from Pixabay and the tree element in the background is by Anna Aspnes from her Trees collection.

That looks great, Lillias! I like the direction that each one is facing in the frame.....they work really well together. And great idea for the tree in the background.

The background you chose works so well with the featured items, Jacki!

Thank you very much Helen for this well designed template. I need some help please to understand the best way to add pictures inside the boxes. Kind regards Chris

Chris, just open the image that you want to add and then copy/paste it into the "Your Picture" layer you are working on. You can then use the transform tool to adjust it to your liking. Post back if that isn't clear. Glad you are giving it a try.

I had some trouble figuring out how to use this template, simply because the entire concept was new to me. However, it wasn't too difficult in the end. The background is a pic of a piece of the Chihuly Bridge of Glass in Tacoma, rather close to the McMenamins Elks Temple where we stayed last Month. (click for full-size view)

Thanks for trying it, Tom. Always think it's good to try something new.....while I've seen Chihuly glass exhibits a few times your post prompted me to google the man himself. So interesting to read about his work and commitment to introduce the art to kids and the underprivileged.
